TRAIN STATION-Closed for Business

Drew is the world's biggest lover of trains, so when I saw that there was a little train station museum near us we were excited to check it out. We have attempted to go numerous times and always found the museum locked and empty. On one of the unsuccessful visits, we finally found a sign posted in the museum window that said "Museum open Saturdays 10:00-2:00 pm." So, today being Saturday, we decided to check it out around 12:00 pm. and sadly the museum was still not open. We will try again and someday I just know they will let us in.

Hi. I after reading your post, I remembered that there is a park in south Provo that has a real live train you can play on. Granted the train doesn't work, but I remember going there as a kid and thinking it was awesome. I think it's call Geneva Park or GRA park (you could call the parks & rec of Provo for more info). Anywho it was super cool & if Drew is into trains, that might be a winner. (Sorry if all of this info is second hand & you already know all this, but just thought I'd pass it on.) K. Have a great Sunday.

Ok, so after googling around, I found this link. http://www.steamlocomotive.info/F62003.cfm
I guess the park was sold & the train went with it. Sorry for the bad info. It would have been super cool though.

This post and these pictures kind of break my heart- all the kid wants to do is visit the train museum, why can't they ever be open? Hope it finally works out sometime!

Poor Drew. Don't they know that they are disappointing kids? The picture of the them waiting outside the closed train station is so sad. At least it was a nice day and they weren't standing in the rain at the closed station.
